Continuous Improvement
Email
In addition to the standard fields Thomson continues to invest in an ever growing email database. This database currently stands at 460K opt-in, Thomson controlled, email addresses that are not given out to clients, but are managed and used on behalf of the client by Thomson.
As a result, we are able to ensure that all email use is compliant with the legislation governing the use of emails as a communication tool (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and also the Data Protection Act.
URLs
By using the most modern of technology available, Thomson continues to grow its URL database. This investment has ensured that the URL database has grown to a level that is now available for licensing. This field continues to grow at circa 1% per month and is verified as part of Thomson's unique verification process.
Quality
With over 2 million business contacts, the classified Thomson database is well known for having an extensive number of fields providing comprehensive information including senior decision makers, the last time the record was screened, email contacts and URLs. All these fields are checked via the Thomson verification contact process. An average of 8,000 calls continue to be made daily by a dedicated team ensuring that records are updated and the quality of the database is not compromised by change.
The database management process that is used by Thomson is ISO accredited and is subject to 6 month spot check audits to ensure standards are being met.
