Meet the woman behind the new Thomson Catwoman, responsible for adding the ‘glam factor' to Thomson Local.
She is Marem Hernandez and she is no stranger to the media and entertainment scene. She featured in Sky One's football drama ‘The Dream Team', was Maria in Tomb Raider II and a Gossards Wonderbra Girl in the TV advertisements.
Now she is the new face of Thomson Directories, and will feature on the front of every Thomson Local directory - all 23 million of them delivered to homes and businesses across the UK over the next twelve months. Some profile! And she will also appear on the ThomsonLocal.com website, Thomson's online directory.
Thomson Directories are looking to their new Catwoman to attract even more people to their print and online directories. This sassy super heroine is on a mission to demonstrate that Thomson Local directories 'go further than you think' in providing you with businesses and services that you are looking for.
All 2006/7 editions of Thomson Local will include a range of new features in the directory's lifestyle section, 'Localplus'. These include a whole new category called 'feeling great' all about health and wellness, and there is greater focus on those increasingly popular interests - the home and garden. A new Insurance Guide is being introduced in the classified section, bringing together all the insurance services available in each area and to further accommodate people's directory needs, the business A-Z now has more than 400,000 web addresses.
