With the 13th version of its Business Search PRO CD-ROM, Thomson Directories has added more features that extend the functions of their sales and marketing tool, whilst also increasing its value for money.

Business Search PRO is designed to enable organisations to build bespoke direct mail lists and telemarketing campaigns by applying their own search criteria to the Thomson Directories database of over 2 million UK business listings. The award-winning product is updated every six months, with enhancements to its features being driven by customer feedback.

Version 13 reflects the fact that 47% of users regularly use its Hit List print functionality. Print outs of company name, telephone number and Thomson verified contact name have been simplified and is a key innovation introduced. Users will also have the opportunity to map their prospects by linking to ThomsonLocal.com directly from the CD-ROM, allowing them to plan prospect calls in a more strategic and efficient manner.

Value for money has been increased by the way in which calculation of credits has been adjusted. The basic record now includes number of employees and financial data, which previously carried a ‘price tag’ of two credits (approximately 16p).
